We have a lot of new things going on at our house. Plenty of projects and new animals to take care of now. After the bathroom remodel we moved the painting into the bedroom, which is very slowly coming together. It's hard to find the time to paint the entire thing at once when I need to keep the kids (mainly Libby) away from the room and the paint while still taking care of their needs, so it's been done a little at a time, in addition to a few other projects we've got going on. Plenty to keep us busy around here!
Here are a few of the new additions:
Raised Garden Beds
 |
| We're putting the trampoline in the ground ourselves (another project) where the garden was, and moving the garden to raised garden beds around the yard. These are 3 out of 5 of them. A work in progress. |
Chicken Coup
 |
| Another work in progress. We're still putting the fenced area together and eventually would like to paint the coup red. |
Which, of course, means chickens!
 |
| The kids love holding the chicks! I'm waiting for Libby to have a Lennie moment, as we frequently have to stop her from squeezing the poor chicks! |
Add to the bunch... another dog!
 |
| This is Missy. She's a Vizsla, owned and trained by Andrew and DeAnna (Richard's sister and her husband). She's about 5 years old, so she's out of the wild puppy stage (although she still has plenty of energy!), is house trained, and she's fixed. They were looking for a good home for her and we decided to take her. We're already attached. |
And these are just pretty. :) My favorite flowers, no question.
So, if you try to get ahold of me in the next few weeks (or have tried recently) and I don't answer, it's probably because I'm trying to get the many projects completed! Either that or my phone is on the other end of the house, and really, I'm to pregnant and tired to get to it in time so why even bother running there to get it? ;) hehe
