First Camping Trip of the Season!

We went on our first camping trip of the season this weekend and really enjoyed it! Last year when we went camping Garrett wasn't walking yet so we had him confined to the stroller most of the time and he really didn't like it. Consequently, camping was a little stressful last year. This year, however, both Keira and Garrett are at great ages to take camping, so it was quite enjoyable! They both absolutely loved being able to spend so much time outdoors, getting dirty, and just exploring to their hearts content!

The campsight was up Hobble Creek canyone and it wasn't the best, but it was a good starter campsight to test out camping on our kids.

Garrett and Keira did pretty well sleeping in the tent, as well. When they woke up in the morning they both climbed into our sleeping bag with us (we have the kind that zip together).

Keira was so disappointed when it was time to go, but we told her we'd come again and that made her happy. She just loved collecting rocks, leaves, and sticks all day long!

Kenny came with us, which was nice to have the help and company. We look forward to going with Jamile some day too! :)
