AKA.... Halloween.
As usual this holiday was lots of fun! Keira and Garrett were so excited for it to come! Friday night while I was tucking Keira into bed (after she'd already been asleep for a few hours) she opened her eyes, looked at me and said, "Tomorrow, it'll be only 2 more days until Halloween." And back to sleep she went. Who says you need to think something's real (Santa) in order to be super excited and live in the magic?!
The day before Halloween we carved and painted pumpkins while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. We haven't used paints before. That really added to the fun!

| Richard's pumpkin; it says "Lee". |
| My pumpkin; Mickey Mouse. |
| Keira's pumpkin. She loved this idea of painting the pumpkin! |
| More pumpkins by me, Keira, & Garrett. |
Then on Halloween we made witches brew (homemade rootbeer) and had dinner in a pumpkin. Yum!

| So cool! (pa..ha...ha...) |
Then it was on to the highly anticipated trick-or-treating. Of course the kids had a ton of fun! Keira ran from house to house, with Garrett right behind, and Libby would do a little dance of excitement after someone would put a treat in her pumpkin. So cute!

| Alice in Wonderland. |
| What a doll! |
| I was a woodelf. Thank you DI for providing my outfit for $10! |
| Garrett wanted to be a pirate for Halloween, so we went out and searched DI and other places and pieced together a cute little pirate outfit. The day of the little punk refused to be anything but Spiderman. *sigh* Of course. |

Keira, the bageera. The cute makeup that my mom did for her got a little smeared at school, but it held up pretty good, considering. |
| Richard was feeling sick, so he didn't dress up and go trick-or-treating this year. |
