Learning Log 29 (March 27th - 31st)

This week was pretty pathetic.  Mom got terribly sick and wasn't able to do much most of the week.  Here's what we DID get done:

Reading
KEIRA and LIBBY had a book club to go to this week, so Keira sat with Libby and together they read the entire book, The Secret Valley.  Then they were able to go to the book club, discuss the book, and do a sewing project that went along with the book with the girls at book club.
In addition to book club KEIRA got a lesson of Reading Eggspress in, and LIBBY did about 6 lessons in Reading Eggs (she was feeling ambitious that day).
GARRETT, as usual, was quick to suggest reading time out of Jedi Academy, so he and I read a bunch of that while I was laying down.

Math
KEIRA did worksheets for math this week, practicing division.  She also played a game with the family of Sequence Numbers where she brushed up on adding and subtracting large numbers, and using strategy to get four in a row.
GARRETT also did worksheets for math this week, practicing multiplication facts.  He also played a game with the family of Sequence Numbers, practicing adding and subtracting large numbers and using strategy to get four in a row.
LIBBY did worksheets for math this week as well, practicing place number values.  She also played a game with the family of Sequence Numbers, practicing adding and subtracting large numbers and using strategy to get four in a row.

KEIRA took up a new hobby this week while I was mentally absent.  That hobby was crocheting, and she used YouTube to learn how to make a headband.  She's still working on it, getting better and less frustrated every day.

KEIRA also did a lesson in Snap Circuits this week.

GARRETT did a lesson in Lego Robotics this week, and made a movable bridge for boats to go under.
