The time finally came! We finally finished our Anatomy and Physiology unit! To finish with a bang, each kid made their own poster out of crafts, to demonstrate different body systems. Keira made 4, and labeled some anatomy, Garrett made 3, and labeled some anatomy, Libby made two, and William made one. He wanted to add to his, though, and make another system, so his finished product isn't up here yet.
KEIRA
Math: Math consisted of reading a section out of The Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe, and doing an activity from it. She also did a very long bar graph with a lot of the numbers from the number Pi, read more from Math and Magic in Wonderland, and played math games.
ELA: She continued reading from Ramona and Beazus, and The Fallacy Detective, and brushed up on her handwriting. This in addition to the reading she did for math.
Sewing: She had lessons scheduled for this week, but we have someone lost our foot pedal to our sewing machine, so we had to cancel. So she worked more on her cross stitch.
Piano: She continues to plug away at her songs. She's going to be performing her Minuet at a recital next month so she's working on polishing that, and making good progress on Clare de Lune, and Fur Elise.
Violin: Lessons were cancelled this week, due to spring break for the college students (a few of which are her teachers), so she just practiced her songs she was given from the week before.

GARRETT
Math: He continued to learn out of picture books for math, and is moving into the multiplication books. In addition to the books he played games to go along with the concepts, and looked for more patterns in grouping numbers.
ELA: He read a lot from Loud Boy books. They're a favorite of his lately. He also wrote in his journal.
LEGOs: This week was spent putting together some kits that had fallen apart, and doing stop-motion movies.
Piano: He's learning how to be more consistent with scales in piano, and learning chords. He's doing great.

LIBBY
Math: She did several chapters from Life of Fred again this week, read out of math picture books, learned to look out for number patterns, and played games.
ELA: She was very much into poetry this week. One day she read poems by Emily Dickinson, and learned about her life, and another day she was reading poems by Robert Frost. She also learned more about Mexico, Polar Bears, and wrote her journal on the computer again.
Photography: More lessons on light. This time about color and intensity.
Piano: She has picked out a few songs to play for the recital next month, and is working on making them sound good.
WILLIAM
Math: William also did a few lessons from Life of Fred, learned how to form different ways to get to 10, read math picture books with me, and played fun dice games that sharpened his adding skills.ELA: He did lessons from Reading Eggs, read out of the McGuffy Primer with me, and did a lesson from The Good & The Beautiful.
LEGOs: His Batmobile needed some fixing, so he worked on that, and organizing his LEGOs this week.
ASL: The Signing Time video this week was on colors. We brushed up on our color signs, and practiced with the video.
