Math: More building math muscles this week through play. Lots of strategy games, and pattern sequences through math coloring books.
English: We continued reading Pollyanna together as a family, and got through chapters 7 - 10. In addition to this reading Keira did some lessons on Reading Eggspress.
Science: We learned about sound effects through Mystery Science curriculum this week, and watched some behind the scenes on Wall-E to see how they created the sound effects on there, too. In addition to that we had a field trip hike where we discussed various aspects of nature on our way to a waterfall.
Fine Arts: We still haven't started violin, since we haven't moved, but we started learning the piano this week through an amazing app called Piano Maestro! Keira practiced (on her own accord) for many, many hours! She's already advanced through the lessons to lesson 13! She's thoroughly enjoying herself.
Tech: We didn't do much from Snap Circuits this week. We reviewed the ones she's already done, and went through the pictures of the projects she's already done and discussed which ones were her favorite, and why.
PE: We are moving, so we haven't started gymnastics yet. To get exercise this week Keira rode her bike a lot and went on a 1 mile hike to a waterfall.
GARRETT

English: We continued reading Pollyanna together as a family, and got through chapters 7 - 10. In addition to this reading Garrett did some lessons on Reading Eggs, and read from Jedi Academy.
Science: We learned about sound effects through Mystery Science curriculum this week, and watched some behind the scenes on Wall-E to see how they created the sound effects on there, too. In addition to that we had a field trip hike where we discussed various aspects of nature on our way to a waterfall.
Tech1: We reviewed what we learned last week for Lego Robotics this week, and discussed what we're going to do next week.
Tech2: Garrett explored Adventure Island keyboarding this week, completing a few lessons. He learned home row keys, and enjoyed the games that went along with it.
PE: We are moving, so we haven't started horseback riding lessons yet. To get exercise this week Garrett rode his bike a lot, and went on a 1 mile hike to a waterfall.
LIBBY

English: We continued reading Pollyanna together as a family, and got through chapters 7 - 10. In addition to this reading, Libby did some lessons on Reading Eggs, and read from the McGuffy Reader.
Science: We learned about sound effects through Mystery Science curriculum this week, and watched some behind the scenes on Wall-E to see how they created the sound effects on there, too. In addition to that we had a field trip hike where we discussed various aspects of nature on our way to a waterfall.
Tech: Libby tried doing the Disney typing program again this week. She still doesn't love it, but she did better this week.
World Language: We're still in the review process of ASL. We reviewed more lessons we did last year, through games.
