Aaand it's off!

Keira got her cast off today!!! It was surprisingly scary for me. As they had the saw to her arm the guy didn't restrain Keira at all and at one point the blade was within one inch from her fingers! She could have moved her fingers and gotten hurt! I was just holding my breath, but at the same time it was all very exciting. Keira was excited on the way there, and then the guy started the saw and she started getting nervous as he cut her cast off. But then the guy got a tool that pries the cast open and when he did that it popped like he had just cracked a nut open and that got her crying. I don't know why exactly, but she was scared at that point. It didn't last long, though and now she's cast-free! Here are some pics:

The before picture...
...and the after picture!
You can't tell as well in this picture because her other arm is turned, but her right arm (left in this pic) is smaller then the left. Her arm is also a little bent which is a little unsettling, but the Dr said that it's expected, and that it will correct itself in no time.
She still holds her arm like it has a cast on.

She is so cute! Don't worry about the saw, it only vibrates instead of rotating so it doesn't cut through skin.

Hooray!! I still can't believe she broke her arm in the first place, but I'm glad everything worked out OK :)
