Math: Math consisted of puzzles, logic games on PBS using Odd Squad, and number games on the ipad.
English: More Pollyanna this week. We're at the climax of the book, and the kids are eating up the time spent listening to the story unfold. We're learning a bit about the time period, and what a gig and porte-cochere is. More books from Reading Rainbow were read in her free time, and a few lessons on Reading Eggs.
Science: There is a Supermoon coming up on November 14th, so we discussed what that means, and went over the orbit of the moon and how it will look so big. We also got the ingredients, and made slime to play with this week.
World Language: This week was a mix of review words, and new words in sign language. We went over about 15 signs in total this week.
PE: This was a big week for PE! Libby started doing horseback riding lessons this week! It was very exciting! She learned how to approach a horse, how to brush it, how to saddle it, and how to mount it and ride using her balance and the reins.
