Learning Log #10 (Oct 21st - 25th)

KEIRA
Math - Keira continued her Life of Fred reviews this week, played some strategy games, and then later in the week we went over her reviews and went over things she didn't quite know.  One of those things was Prime Numbers.  We reviewed those better, and did some worksheets to reinforce the idea.
ELA - This week Keira practiced cursive handwriting, wrote a pen pal letter to someone in the Phillipines, and wrote a response paper for her co-op with the subject of whether country or family was more important.  For reading this week she read from Being George Washington, Dragon Slippers, and Cheaper By the Dozen.
Science - It was a Mystery Science week for science.  We learned why we have skulls, and what would happen if you drank acid.
Tech - She kept working on her previous assignment for US History Minecraft, making a fortification for early colonial people.
