The Archives

This is the reason why Richard (and Alishia) are in Namibia. To go through the archives and restore the media there. Some of the students are working on restoring the audio and video files, and others are working on photos.

Part of the process is cataloging what they are working on, which is what Alishia's job is.

Here's an example of a photograph they'll be digitizing. Some photos (like this one) are so old they are on glass slides.
